Exceptionally long lasting, semi-fluid and easily pumpable food grade lubricating grease for the use in central lubrication systems. Engineered for a multitude of general machine applications and the lubrication of gearboxes with splash lubrication. Fortified with MicPol® for increased lubricity and extremely long-lasting protection against friction and wear.

Listed by the NSF® (Class H-1) which gives this grease full acceptability for use in all areas where incidental contact with food, beverages or drugs may occur.

Application areas

Applications include the lubrication of industrial gearboxes running at slow to moderate speed industrial gearboxes and machine parts such as, bearings, chains and slides with automatic grease and oil delivery systems with tube diameters greater than 6 mm. Not for the use in progressive lubrication systems.

Instructions for use

For best results, parts should be cleaned or purged of the previous lubricant prior to use. Drain the old oil from the gearbox as prescribed by the manufacturer. Interflon Food Grease 000 cannot be mixed with lithium greases. Do not use in central lubrication systems in which the grease will be pumped through tubes with an inside diameter smaller than 6 mm. When used in central lubrication systems remove any filters. For application in gearboxes please consult your Technical Advisor for the correct filling level.

What is MicPol® technology

MicPol® technology is Interflon’s patented technology that strengthens and improves the original properties of the lubricants. MicPol® is a combination of micronisation and polarization. Micronisation is a unique process where components of the lubricant are reduced in such a way that they can penetrate all pores and sub-pores of a surface to be lubricated. Polarization is the components that are charged during the production process. This ensures a unique adhesion to the surfaces to be lubricated. Advantages of MicPol® include;

  • Longer lasting lubrication (extends PM intervals)
  • Runs at much lower friction than conventional or synthetic greases
  • Dirt, sand and water repellent
  • Lubricant lasts longer (less grease needed)
  • Better resistance to high pressure and loads
